Certain schools around the world are known for their enriched and specialized course content. If you look at the top medical schools in the world, London tops the list with Cambridge University. Students who have finished their bachelors in their hometown then move to London to complete their masters and eventually there PhD.
Studying abroad allows you to gain the general acceptance of knowing more people and having international connections. Apart from this social aspect, you will be able learn from the best learning facility that your field offers. In terms of the medical field, Cambridge has the best staff, facility and course selection.
Knowing all this, there is no reason for anyone to choose another school. However, the one thing that stops people from studying abroad is the financial reason, as it could be quite expensive.

I’m a student at the Faculty of Automation and Computer Science in Cluj-Napoca, a city from Romania. When I was asked if I want to study all my courses in English I was a little bit undecided, but after I thought better I realized that if I will do this I have more chances to study in other countries like England or USA. I think every student want to make his life easier and for that he must see all the possibilities he has.

Study abroad for better future is hard choice when we face with option that we must leave our family and our good neighbourhood. But for better future from hard study even we must abroad to foreign country which well known as good resource for our study it is our RISK to take.
My self decision on this situation is take the challenge to foreign country for my study. After get study and get short jobs contract than I must get home to implement my skill in own country. Best wish is when get study out side our country, we can get scholarship to. It is better condition that we want.

It’s not only about gaining acceptability, or being introduced to a new environment. When we talk about abroad, we should consider all countries, and their situations. In a lot of countries, there is a lot of racism and stereotyping, which ofcourse is dangerous for student life. As it only distracts the student off his objectives and obstructs his potentials. However, if we compare the educational standards, UK has a very high educational standard in high schools. As they raise the standards up to a great level!

I never really thought of this. But, it may be a little difficult to study abroad. It takes work to transfer to a different school and coming up with the money. Sometimes there might be a school you want to transfer to and you might not have enough money to transfer which can hold you back.
I’d say you can study abroad but don’t move around more than 3 times. I’d say you can start at one school and move to a next to achieve a higher education.

Some reasons I think studying abroad can help:
You may have an ideal opportunity to learn a new language which could help with future job prospects. You can make friends and contacts which you would not otherwise be able to make if you stayed at home. You can see and study a new culture first hand, try new foods and see other people perspective on the world. You have an ideal opportunity to travel the country you are in and broaden your horizons. I think all of these help with job prospects and growing as a person.

I believe that most students would gladly go to another location knowing that they will get a better education than where they currently are and one of the reasons that we are being held back is having to leave behind your family and friends. Cost of education is also another factor. but then again if you can make it. why not?

I always wanted to study abroad. It was my dream to study car design in Italy, as the are good design schools for car design. Moreover, there are lots of automotive design companies in this country like e.g. Pininfarina, Fioravanti, Bertone, Lancia, Alfa Romeo, Lamborghini and others. So many work opportunities.
In my opinion studying abroad is a big challenge. You can also improve your language skills and make some international friends. Every student should spend at least one semester studying in a different country.

I live in the Serbia, and I am currently a freshmen in college. I would like to study abroad next year in either France, Russia or Italy
Since I have never been to France, Italy or Germany, I don’t know which one would be the best fit for me. I studied German for 1 year in high school and during the summer, but couldn’t take it in college.

For you as an american maybe is possible to study in a foreign country even if you don’t get a full scholarship or even 50% deducted scholarship.
Let’s take the Cambridge example, i’m from a east european country, Romania and to get a full scholarship on this university is possible but very hard.
If i don’t have this chance, probably i will not manage all the financial aspects and after few weeks/months i will not be able to support myself.

Yeah ANDREJ it’s really challenging to go and study abroad.
For a specific subject there are 1-2 countries which are best in. I think USA is the hub for masters in computers.

I think it is case by case. Not all students are suitable for studying aboard. Some students may find it difficult to live aboard and affect their study

I went to college in the 80′s and ended up attended Illinois State University on an academic scholarship.i wanted to attend Barnet college in Northern London.I applied and was accepted however it would have been difficult for me and my family to pay for as i did not have a scholarship to that institution.I spent a lot of time trying to figure out different ways to pay for it and in the end i simply could not justify the expense especially since a degree from Barnet doesn’t carry the after scholl salary of say Oxford. It was dream to travel Europe and i managed to fulfill my dream by graduating from ISU and then enlisting in the army where I was stationed in several bases in Europe. I learned after I enlisted of the fantastic scholarship programs the army offers and if i had it all to do over again I would have joined the army first then with my scholarship benefits I could have easily afforded to go to school in Europe. I encourage all young people to look into the US military as a way to pay for college.I don’t know what the benefits are now but when I was in they were tremendous.
